When I was first getting passionate about improving my health, eating habits and lifestyle, I was literally all on my own...
I didn’t have any kind of supportive community or outside form of accountability, or even just an easy place to go to for tips, advice, recipes, meal plans, inspiration or guidance of any sort.
I really wanted to be the best version of myself, improve my health, and to live true to the morals of what I believed in, and then I discovered that a plant based lifestyle was one of the best ways to do so.
Although I thought I'd have to give up the things and foods that make me happy, until I learnt more about how a plant based diet could allow me to eat in a way where I could have all the things I wanted to, without feeling left out or missing out on anything.
I also regrettably thought I could tackle it all myself. I was navigating this path, this health journey, all on my own, which took a lot of trial and error, and trying to learn all of this on my own was like throwing a gold fish into the deep, dark, blue ocean and expecting it to know how to fend for itself.
